About Incubation Centre
The SPIC IT Enterprise Development Centre was inaugurated on March 6, 2002 by H.E.Lt.Gen.JFR
Jacob PVSM(Retd) Governor Punjab & Administrator UT Chandigarh.
To promote small IT/ITES companies in setting up their facilities and to assist
young professionals in setting up their entrepreneurship by providing shell space
in Chandigarh SPIC has IT incubation Centre situated in Punjab Engineering College,
Sector – 12 to enhance software exports from Chandigarh. It has a built up space
of 15,000 sq feet where shell space is provided to the small IT/ITES companies where
they have been provided internet bandwidth connectivity by STPI for software export.
Six IT Companies are operational in SPIC IT Incubation Centre which are doing software
export .The IT Enterprise Development Centre is the first of its kind in North India,
and has been set up in order to encourage IT companies to set up their facilities
in Chandigarh. These IT companies are expected to shift to other locations within
the next three years, after establishing themselves.

1. Net Solutions

Net Solutions is an India based website design and development company. Net Solution started their operations from SPIC IT Incubation Centre with 4 web site developer in August 2001. Their core competency was strategic in web design, e-commerce solutions and custom Internet application development. Over the period of time Net Solution has done so well that they have moved out of the SPIC IT Incubation Centre and has started their operation from DLF campus. They have taken 6000 Sq. Feet area in DLF campus and they have 200 employees on its rolls. Net Solution use Cold Fusion ASP, XML, JAVA and edge Flash Technologies in developing websites.
Net Solutions won the emerging entrepreneur award for the year 2007-08 from STPI.

They use to do software development based on oracle and now this company has graduated to Seasia Consulting which is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Offshore Development Center for Saber Corporation, Portland, USA (www.sabercorp.com). Bebo Technologies started their operations at SPIC Incubation Centre with 10 people. Initially they started with quality assurance and Testing Services here at SPIC Incubation. Bebo now provide variety of software development services that are customized to provide the most effective and efficient for our clients, services include; software development, sustenance engineering and maintenance, quality assurance and testing services and support services. They have a corporate office in sector 34, Chandigarh. They are more than 150 people strong now and also have one built to site plot at Rajiv Gandhi Chandigrh Technology Park and are soon starting the construction of there site at RGCTP.
